Halo The Master Chief Collection will support 120FPS (frames-per-second) on Xbox Series X and Series S a week after the launch of the next-gen consoles.

The popular Halo bundle will be available from 17 November on next-gen consoles and will also be part of Microsoft’s Xbox Game Pass subscription service on both PC and console. The Xbox Series X and Series S versions will include split-screen “improvements” alongside up to 4K resolution on Series X and 120FPS in campaign and multiplayer on both next-gen consoles. It’s unclear what resolution will be offered when in 120FPS mode.

Xbox Series X and Series S head to retail stores on 10 November. Halo The Master Chief Collection will be playable on that same day via backwards compatibility before its Xbox Series X and Series S version coming on 17 November.
