GTA IV no longer available to purchase on Steam

Quite suddenly, GTA IV disappeared from Steam - with the game no longer being able to be purchased by gamers wanting to step into the shoes of Niko Belic. A member of the ResertEra forum recently discovered that the Steam page for GTA IV no longer has a purchase button where it once was, meaning no-one can purchase the game via Steam.

However, all is not lost for those wanting to get the game at some point in the future. Rockstar has clarified their reasoning for taking the game off Steam, with a spokesperson sharing a statement with GameSpot:
Grand Theft Auto IV was originally created for the Games For Windows Live platform. With Microsoft no longer supporting Games For Windows Live, it is no longer possible to generate the additional keys needed to continue selling the current version of the game. We are looking at other options for distributing GTAIV for PC and will share more information as soon as we can.
Grand Theft Auto V and Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, at the moment remain available for purchase on Steam. For those who already own GTA IV on Steam, don't you worry, you can continue to play the title until you get tired of driving about doing senseless crimes.

My sister's partner's son is obsessed with the movies and the shows, he's seen absolutely everything and raves about them. Showed me a couple of the movies, and they're definitely decent, but it feels like you're out of the loop if you haven't seen them and try to watch one at random. So need to sort of figure out an order and go with it at some point

I'm a bit confused what I should do for user/vote relationship. Should it be a one to many from user or a one to one?
  • A @ Augment:
So that a user can only vote once per thread
  • PGen98 @ PGen98:
I want to say it's one to one, but in all honesty I'm a bit fuzzy there. I can recommend JoyFreak's sister site AdminIntel - Admin & Webmaster Resource where there are lots for people of varying degrees of expertise with development, you likely can get a far more precise answer there!
