Gears Tactics to launch on Xbox One later this year

Gears Tactics will head to Xbox One later this year, developer The Coalition has confirmed.

Gears Tactics was developed at its core as an authentic PC-first experience, a foundation that was fostered across teams at The Coalition and Splash Damage in the game’s design focus on strategic game mechanics, a technical build optimized across PCs and intricate gameplay controls for mouse and keyboard.

The Coalition confirmed that those who buy a qualifying “Intel Core i5 processor-based device or higher” will gain free access to Gears Tactics on PC.

Gears Tactics heads to Windows PC on April 28 and will be part of the Xbox Game Pass for PC.
