Discussion Games with magic systems

I am real fan of Harry Potter books and movies. However, the games have always disappointed me because casting a spell is about just pressing a button.

There is no real drawing of spells, practicing or making it more powerful and all those. I was wondering if in any games, you have come across a full blown magic rendition system.

Give me recommendations and I would love to try them out.

A lot of magic is there in the age of magic RPG. In fact I have played a lot of RPG games where you can find magic and the mage fighters. If you are into RPG niche, then there are many that you can think of. I recommend also checking out the advneture magic niche where you can find some of such games.

Wild Arms and Final Fantasy 7 allowed for mixing elements into more creative combinations. But even these still rely on just a simple MP bar and a button press.
