Final Fantasy XIV automatic housing demolition suspended during COVID-19

Final Fantasy XIV automatic housing demolition has been suspended for players, meaning they will not lose their homes if they’re unable to pay subscriptions during the COVID-19 crisis.

Taking into account the world-wide spread of the COVID-19 (also known as “novel coronavirus”) and the economical effects of various cities going into lock-down, we have decided to temporarily suspend automatic housing demolition.

If your estate or land is currently being prepared for auto-demolition, you can cancel this status by entering your estate or constructing an estate on your land.

No timeframe on the suspension was announced but we’ll keep you updated as we learn more.

Final Fantasy XIV is available on PS4 and Windows PC.
