Starfield, the new Bethesda game that studio boss Todd Howard has called "Skyrim in space," is getting closer every day. Due for release in November on Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and PC, it's set 300 years in the future and will see players customizing their own hero and traveling through space, exploring new planets.
A recent leak suggests every planet in Starfield is bigger than the entire Skyrim map, so if you put hundreds of hours into that fantasy adventure you might just want to take a sabbatical from work to make the most of this new adventure. Starfield is Bethesda's first new IP in over two decades, so the pressure is on to see if this new series can do for space what Fallout did for mutants, and Skyrim did for shouting at dragons.
