Eddie Hall has accepted an invitation from his strongman rival Hafthor Bjornsson to fight in a sanctioned boxing bout after ‘The Mountain’ broke his deadlift record at the weekend.
Hall, who was crowned World’s Strongest Man in 2017, set the previous record of 500kg in the same year he was crowned the best in the world.
But from his home gym in Iceland and with thousands of fans streaming the event, the former Game of Thrones actor took the title as he lifted 501kg to the delight of his partners in the gym.
