If you use the Microsoft Elite Series 2 controller for more than ten minutes, you will understand why we put it first. Everything about Series 2 is luxurious. Nearly unlimited customization options provide you with an unparalleled level of game control (pun intended). Being able to adjust all aspects of the controller, such as the arrow keys, shift paddles and joystick tension, is definitely a godsend. Compared to Series 1 (which we also like), the most notable changes in Series 2 include a neat little suitcase that doubles as a charging station for the controller's new rechargeable battery, which can be charged for 40 hours. Finally, with Project Xcloud and Apple Arcade bringing some great games to mobile devices, you can easily pair Series 2 controllers via Bluetooth. Buying a controller for $160 is a difficult selling point for most people. This is almost four times the price of an Xbox One controller, but if you are a serious gamer who values performance and extreme customization, Series 2 is An effortless one is worth every penny.
