Dreams explains creator's rights and the use of IP in-game

Dreams has answered some questions via a blog post on the creator’s rights and the use of IP in-game.

You own the IP for the original creations that you make in Dreams.
~Media Molecule’s Siobhan Reddy

Reddy stressed that anyone can use their own creations for personal use, through art, music, designs on t-shirts and more.

But when it comes to commercial use, Reddy admitted that “it’s new terrority” for the developer.

We’ve been busy behind the scenes mapping out how we can make it easier for creators to do this in the future. We are kicking this off with a beta evaluation, where creators can submit an application to use Dreams for a specific project.
The beta will be open to a select few; those interested can apply here. You’ll need to be an “Early Access [Member] in good standing” and have published creations that Media Molecule can assess.

Dreams is available on PS4.

I'm sure it will come to a point if anyone is making a lot of money, they will stop any passing out of said item.
