Now, chess is a board game that I excel at and have had lessons during my childhood. Love playing it with my childhood friends and family. Does anyone here play chess? If so, what do you like about it?

I used to play chess when I was younger. What I liked about it was that it was a cool 2 in 1 board. Checkers can be played by the younger crowd, although it does require some skill. Whereas chess is more advanced & honestly, took me awhile to get the hang of it. I'm not sure if I won any games lol For those who play, how good are you? Have you ever played in tournaments?

I have never understood the concept of Chess. I have tried to play it before but it just doesn't make sense to me and I've never figured out how to play. Honestly, I'm more of a checkers person, it's a simpler game for my mind.

I love playing chess! Unfortunately I don't have a lot of people to play with. I used to play with a co-worker but ever since we started working remotely we haven't played.
