Devil May Cry making its way to Nintendo for the first time this Summer

Since the beginning of the franchise, some nearly 20 years ago now, Devil May Cry has never made an appearance on the Nintendo ecosystem. Well, all that is about to change as the Capcom title is coming to the Nintendo Switch sometime this summer.

The reveal appeared to come as part of a random and surprising tweet that confirmed that the game will be coming to the Nintendo console later this summer. However, it didn’t share with us any footage of the game, screengrabs or anything more than that. In fact, not much is actually known other than it’s happening at this point.

Alongside the tweeted announcement, Capcom also saw fit to launch a webpage for the Switch version of Devil May Cry. According to Capcom, the game will only be made available digitally, and there are currently no plans for a physical release. At this point, it’s unknown which version of the game will make its way to Nintendo’s hybrid platform.
