Destiny 2 transmog, cross-play and more coming soon

Destiny 2 will get an armour transmog in Season 14 and cross-play support between all platforms in 2021, developer Bungie has announced.

Bungie’s Joe Blackburn wrote that “Transmog will be coming with Season 14.”

Transmog will allow players to choose the visual appearance of their armour. The benefit is that players can equip gear with the best stats for their playstyle without having to compromise when it comes to their overall appearance.

The post continued with “more details to come,” and two images of how transmog will work once added in-game. Check it out below.



Blackburn also confirmed that cross-play support will be added in 2021. A specific timeframe was not detailed.

Destiny 2 Beyond Light is available on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Stadia and Windows PC.
