Destiny 2 Beyond Light has been delayed to November due to the coronavirus pandemic, developer Bungie has confirmed.

David ‘DeeJ’ Dague, Community Manager wrote:
The past few months have been a challenge and will continue to be during this pandemic. We’ve learned to create together in a new way, by having to work apart from one another. Despite these hurdles, we’re still committed to the same level of quality that our fans expect.

Beyond Light
sets the stage for an incredible future in Destiny 2 and, though it’s coming later than we originally anticipated, we’re excited to continue that journey with you this November.

As a way of apologising for the delay, Bungie has promised more of the expansion in the coming weeks. Beyond Light will add the playable location of Europa and will also offer a current-gen to next-gen upgrade option for players.

Destiny 2 is available on PS4, Xbox One, Stadia and Windows PC; later followed by PS5 and Xbox Series X versions.
