Justin Jackson found a way to help in the form of esports. The Dallas Mavericks forward announced on Wednesday he’d be launching his “Battle of the Blues” Call of Duty Tournament, which will start Thursday.

Jackson started the tournament in effort to raise funds and awareness as people around Dallas and the country battle the outbreak of the coronavirus (COVID-19).

Jackson will be his own team captain alongside his Mavs teammates Jalen Brunson and Seth Curry, with Sacramento Kings star De’Aaron Fox also joining in. Jackson and Brunson were already a consistent Call of Duty duo even before basketball had to be halted. Brunson played alongside Dallas’ own Call of Duty League team, the Empire’s Crimsix in a Warzone tournament last week.
