To be honest, I have no issues with who develops the remake. But hopefully this time they change the story instead of just rehashing the same. And maybe they an come up with new mosters and the future direction of the story.

According to Dusk Golem, the soft reboot is still a thing. I like that they can do a new game without disregarding the rest of the series. They usually don't really link to each other anyway, so this will probably feel like a sequel, which I am fine with. But I don't see the point in actual full-on remakes, giving how Capcom has not did the greatest of job with theirs.

I just think franchises need to move on ahead. The past really needs to burn. I don't appreciate something good being milked to death.
