CNN: Jobless claims surge for third week as 6.6 million Americans file for unemployment

Another 6.6 million people filed for unemployment benefits in the week ending April 4. Altogether, more than 16 million Americans have sought aid in the form of jobless benefits in just the prior three weeks alone.
