Call of Duty: Warzone players are turning invisible
Call of Duty: Warzone players should be aware that there is currently an operator skin that can render players almost invisible when used.
The skin issue in question is the Awoken operator outfit for Francis, which is unlocked at the maximum level of the battle pass for Season 1 of Warzone Pacific.
Like Warzone’s previous issue with invisible skins, the Awoken bug appears to be a flaw in the level of detail that causes a character’s body to automatically disappear when he’s about 35 meters away from you, as streamer BennyCentral points out.
The only part of Awoken’s skin that doesn’t disappear is its mask which clearly glows, meaning enemy players will have to aim from a distance to get a target as big as Crash Bandicoot’s Aku Aku mask.
Unlocking level 100 skin through normal play takes a lot of time which most players don’t have.
Alternatively, you can buy your skin for free, but it quickly becomes expensive. Depending on how much progress you make in the Season 1 battle pass, the cost can range from $50 to $120 to level up to 100.
However, it is not recommended to buy skins just for this exploit. So far, developer Raven Software is aware of the invisibility bug (not yet mentioned in the Warzone’s issue tracker) and will likely be addressed in a future fix.

Normally, Raven would disable such bugged skins as soon as they became a problem, but patching and communication in the studio was understandably slow as the developers were on vacation.
Meanwhile, Warzone players are still facing bugs in the audio and texture streaming (mostly on the console version) that come with the new Caldera map.
Warzone’s rough state comes amid ongoing strike on Activision Blizzard, which began after Raven fired 12 QA testers (the department responsible for identifying exploits and bugs) last month.
