On December 6, the new update of the Black Ops Cold War was launched. It marks the end of the final season of the game and prepares for Vanguard and the first season of Warzone Pacific, which will be launched on December 8.

Treyarch Studios expressed that the update would prepare for synchronized progression with Vanguard. It includes new Prestige Levels and rewards, Season Challenge unlocks for the past six seasons, new Prestige Shop content, and the sky’s the limit from there.

The fix additionally incorporated some weapon tuning and acclimations to the Zombies mode.

In any case, since the time the arrival of the update, PC players have encountered consistent slamming issues with the accompanying error message:

“Unfortunately, the application has unexpectedly stopped working. Trying a ‘Scan and Repair’ might solve the issue.”

The fatal error message then, at that point, guides gamers to visit the Activision Support website assuming the issue perseveres. However, you most likely won’t track down a lot of help there.
