PS5 full specifications revealed, Xbox Series X comparison

PS5 full specifications have been revealed today and we've added Xbox Series X’s full specifications comparison too.

Today, Mark Cerny detailed:
  • CPU: 8 Zen 2 Cores @ 3.5GHz (variable frequency)
  • GPU: 10.28 teraflops, 36 CUs @ 2.23GHz (variable frequency)
  • Memory: 16GB GDDR6, 256-bit
  • Memory Bandwidth: 448GB per second
  • Internal Storage: Custom 825GB SSD
  • IO Throughput: Raw: 5.5GB per-second; compressed: Typical 8-9GB per-second
  • Expandable Storage: NVMe SSD Slot
  • External Storage: USB HDD Support
  • Optical Drive 4K: UHD Blu-ray Drive
PS5 is offering less teraflops and a smaller SSD, but the option to change the SSD for a bigger one. The RAM is on par with the Xbox Series X. In comparison, we’d expect the PS5 to cost less than the Xbox Series X, but also to be less powerful.
