Pokémon Go: 7km eggs only hatch fossil types

Pokémon Go 7 kilometer eggs now only hatch fossil type Pokémon, Niantic has confirmed.

Developer Niantic has announced the update today with a no end date. Pokémon like Cranidos, Shieldon, Tirtouga, Omanyte, Kabuto, Aerodactyl, Lileep, Anorith and Archen will all be hatching from the 7km eggs. Pokémon like Riolu will now hatch from 10km eggs.

Players have been advised that 7km eggs obtained before the update will hatch older Pokémon, and any new ones will be fossil-type only.
